I've been watching your videos for about 6 months and I think this one was the most informative to me. I'm 26 and just tired of the bs at my job I want to change but unless I'm really good at selling cars the only other way to earn as much as I do would be to learn a skill and I'm really into the idea of plumbing and this told me where to start.

Hey Roger. I'm in my early 30's and ready to get out of food and retail and find plumbing to be a really appealing trade. I would like to work union and be a residential service and repair plumber. This video is tremendously helpful. God bless

I apprenticed at a mid size company in the late 90s, after my apprenticeship got my journeyman and eventually advanced to my master. I've done it all. I prefer service work....most days, keeps you on your toes.

Started open shop it’s been a year and a half now since then, I started on an retirement home first half was for living and the other half was intensive care. I learned so much on that job it was scary at first but after the months gone by I started to learn vary quickly. It was a lot of cast iron and copper on the hospital side and on the home side it was ran with Cpvc and pex.
Nothing better than going out there and getting the experience and learning what to do.

Your advice is excellent and can be applied to multiple trades. I'm a union bricklayer myself. Keep up the good work.

I started plumbing about 6 months ago, total 180 on my career choices, I have a AAS in graphic design and a BBA in marketing.

I'm honestly loving what I do, I wake up excited to do work! (not so much the past month, the company I work for is so unorganized, but I get excited if I do some actual pipework)

I heard that Union workers do get much more money, but I also heard they can get laid off often, so I am up in the air about trying to join a Union right now. I do know that I love doing rough ins, working with trim and fixtures, and my least favorite is digging, I hate digging!
