4 easy boulangerie style pastries using puff pastry

Hey guys welcome back to my channel Isabella's quick recipes! Today's video I was so excited for because I'm going to show you how to take some ordinary frozen puff pastry dough from the grocery store and turning it into some of the most delicious pastries you have ever tried in your life! The house is going to smell heavenly with the morning buns baking in the oven. Believe it or not they only take 3 simple ingredients of cinnamon, sugar and butter! The other pastries are just as easy to make, the classic bear claw with sweet crunchy almonds. The blueberry cheese danish tastes identical to a blueberry cheesecake and the chocolate croissant or pain au chocolate wins the award for its gooey melted chocolate!

Ingredients:
Cheese Danish:
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg yolk (optional)
lemon zest
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp sugar
2 sheets puff pastry
egg wash
course sugar

Bear Claw:
1 egg
1/2 cup room temperature butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup almond flour
1 cup sliced almonds
glaze drizzle:
1 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tsp milk
2 sheets puff pastry
egg wash

Morning Bun:
2 sheets puff pastry
1 cup sugar
2tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup softened butter
egg wash

Chocolate Croissant:
1 cup chocolate chips
2 sheets puff pastry
egg wash
