NASA administrator Bill Nelson talks about how the "competitive spirit" of a new lunar lander competition will help the agency move past the cost-plus contracts, which he describes as a "plague." The comments occurred at a Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice and Science hearing for NASA’s FY 2023 budget request.

i personally dont think hes a bad admin for nasa. he was made administrator only a year ago and he wants healthy competition between other space corporations. he also wants to lower the cost of the sls, nothing to hate there!

I'm glad he is speaking out about it. Anyone else find Bill Nelson scary? He kinda reminds me of the creepy old guy from Poltergeist.

Why tho. If you have one that already won and works great why waste money getting a second type

Is Nelson still in charge? I have rarely seen a more incompetent person.

They should stop wasting money with Elon, most of it is vaporware and start paying more scientific reality and less memes projects That fail.
