I'm willing to go up as the most out-of-condition man ever into space if they'll take me. Beam me up, Scotty.

Remember when instead of letting super rich people do stuff by themselves and for the benefit of themselves we made them pay their fair share of taxes and then all of us as a society benefited from the exploration of outer space?

Kinda seems like that Matt Damon movie, when he had to sneak into that ultra-wealthy space habitat to cure himself while regular people like himself who were earthbound were left to suffer

Strictly speaking these are not "private" space travel events. Using the word "private" in this way is really off the mark. We are talking corporate space travel, extreme wealth corporations. Without the backing of corporate dollars, these flights would not be happening. Because wealthy individuals can fork out cash to national space programs or corporate space programs does not mean "private" individuals have access to space. That is my view on this.

That’s no excuse for not paying taxes. And profit from space travel. Spending their own money ??? Pay taxes and maybe people won’t hate these billionaire attention hogs. Government sponsored…. Because that’s more important than health care housing and food.
