totally agree! worked after my bachelors, from that job i realized where exactly i wanted to go career wise. I sometimes find myself in the same roles as others who have masters degrees. sometimes a masters can help you get your foot in the door easier than a bachelors. but imo a masters is only really worth it if you know where you want to be and you want to move up higher in your roles. but overall i find work experience to be king these days (not to say that higher degrees arent important or valuable)

Reason I am gerring my Master:
> I know there I want to specialise in
> My Master broaderns my knowlege in the field and provides new skills which my bachelor was lacking
> It is free (I am from EU)
> Master studies acts as medium for quicker and easier networking, interships and possibility for my future career.
> Lastly but silly - I want to be a student again

As a marketing major, I definitely needed to hear this. I believe certifications would be best for me especially because of my digital media concentration

I’m gonna be completely honest I agree with some of the things that you are saying but I want to get my masters degree in business because it is a huge personal goal for me since I was a little kid and i feel like it can gain you trust with company’s right off the bat to show that you are someone committed and hardworking enough to pursue a masters after undergraduate school.

I was able to get my masters because my employer was paying for it upfront. I had to do my masters classes after work. Then when I got it, I was promoted 🥰. I ended up leaving that employer to be closer to my family and I was able to find easily thanks to my masters and work experience.

I really liked the content because few people talk about these issues to be considered. In general, they just go with the flow

I have a masters in healthcare administration, it’s a complete joke. I knew what I wanted, I wanted to work in Healthcare Administration management. I can’t even get in the door. Instead I’m working to a low wage job, and none of the employers take me seriously when I send out my resume, I’ve revised it several times, I’ve even networked and asked someone in the field on LinkedIn for some help and she totally ignored me. It was my dream and that’s all it will be. I have over 8-10 years in healthcare work experience and besides my masters I have a computer degree, sent that out years ago. The job market isn’t as easy as one thinks. I have a job and I’m miserable, absolutely hate it, and it’s so hard to get out of this. We were lied to by educators saying to get your education etc it’s awful

Hi Kyyah,
I agree on what your saying about not getting a master degree that if your not sure about that career but the Army is paying for my Master's Degree in criminal justice right now and it's worth my time getting it and using both dresses next year in 2023 as an Arlington Sheriff or a criminal state investigator because those jobs train you

I don't even have a basic degree, much less a masters. Already running my own engineering business for 27 years and have no need for any sort of degree.

Man, it's been almost 2 years since I received me from college and I see almost every of my classmates in these huge universities studying their masters or about to study it. I now I want to study a masters in the mean term as a personal goal, but I think is something I'm afraid of and sincerely not sure if is what I nedd right now in this moment of my life. Thanks for the advices! Helped me get a little bit more oriented.

So last year I got my Associates Degree in nursing. Next year I will be going back for my bachelors. Tbh, there’s nothing that I want to do in my nursing career that requires me to have a masters degree but I still want to get one. I’m doing it for the knowledge and it’s a goal of mine. I like learning and want to do as much of it as I can… but honestly, for career advancement, it’s not something I will need unless I choose a different route. Then in that case, I’ll already be set.

My family is bugging me to go to graduate school and I have no idea what I want to do. So I'm going to work first. This video is beyond helpful! Thank you!

I agree with you, but to qualify for a CPA you need 150 credits ( depending on state). That's why a lot of accounts get a master.

Oooh. That was like a divine sign. I was accepted to over 9 universities and even grabbed a full scholarship. But decided to give up on it in the last minute. After this video i know for sure I made a right decision 🎉
Thanks a lot ❤

I'm pursuing master's degree because I'm jobless for one and half years. It was a mistake 😢. Money and time wasted. I can't secure a decent job after graduated. Now living my life with physiological disorder affecting my life after several major mistakes I had. I'm totally in fiasco😢

What made you go into your master’s right after undergrad? The work you are currently doing in regulatory affairs, was it open due to your master’s degree as you mentioned getting into RA does not require a master’s which you have?

I feel like trash everytime I see a job saying we need master's, bachelor's, associate etc, I have only a professional certificate in psychology, economics and business consultant, I don't even apply cause I feel shame, my morale is dragging on the floor, now you say don't do a master's, well, who can understand the world..?
