SKY KING (Lyric Video) - Max Wassen, Damien N-Drix

On August 10th 2018 Richard "BEEBO" Russell, a bagage handler working in a Seattle airport, dawned a T-shirt that read SKY KING and stole an empty Bombardier Q400. He then proceeded to take off after rolling the airplane himself out on the tarmac doing what can only be described as a "push it and jump the hell in" Startsky and Hutch maneuver. He then proceeded to quite easily nail a couple loopty loops and barrel rolls, which experienced pilots later failed to replicate in the most advanced flight training simulator at the time. According to me There's 2 reasons why Beebo succeeded where experienced pilots failed. 1, pilots had learned from a simulator, while beebo had learned from Star Fox for the Nintendo 64, and the other reason being that counterbalancing the aircraft through these incredible maneuvers were Beebos very own, very large, round, titanium balls.

What you're listening to now is a part of the last conversation Beebo had, a back and forth between him and air traffic controll where in between such great one liners as "I've played video games before so I know what I'm doing a little bit" and "this is probably jail time for life huh? I mean, I would hope it is for a guy like me." I found someone incredibly sincere and sweet. After being told the controller was directing him away from airplanes trying to land he replied "oh ok, great, I'm glad you're not screwing up anyone else's day on account of me."

Unfortunately (but undeniabley) you'll like beebo, and by the end of the story you might even relate to him a bit, leaving you with the same mixed emotions I felt after hearing how it all ends. It took me about 5 years since hearing about him to properly write his story, and I apologize for the wait, but Beebo, your song is finally here. SKY KING, out now everywhere ❤️ #rip

i followed the incident when it was happening at the time, i thought it was very touching and i still think it is, something about the way he talks to the flight control guy makes me sympathize with him a lot. This is a nice and fitting tribute, thank you max, RIP Sky King

Hey Max. No way that I believe that he learned to do this from any game/system(although it mayyyy have played a part in what he did). He premeditated what he did cuz he's got some form of mental illness imo. He woke up that day, per se' with the thought that today is the day I'm doing it, KNOWING the damage he was going to do when he left the house. Know what I'm saying?
