I hope the next JRRT and CSL video is about the time CSL read the early book and found out Pippin died (horribly crushed to death by a troll), and begged JRRT to change it because it was devastating, so he changed it so Gimli saves Pippin. CSL did us a real solid there

We all know that C. S. Lewis's friends called him ‘Jack’, but we don't know anything of the sort about Tolkien, so it stands to reason that his friends must have called him ‘J. R. R.’.

I have this weird theory that one of the dwarves in the Hobbit (let's go with Nori) is actually female but it just never comes up so Bilbo doesn't ever find out. I mean, it works with Tolkien's lore about Dwarves.
