up in the Mid-West, in the 1960s, in Ohio. This was a popular car in my neighborhood. My best friend's folks had this model Ford, ....and as kids we used play inside of it, ....dreaming of our future of driving it one day. That day never came, sadly. However, by the mid 1970s, ....these cars were around, used. My college buddy had one, and we did drive it around our college town. Even then, it was a "cool" retro ride. And we thought we were the "coolest cats", driving it and being seen, driving it. Great restoration, it looks fantastic.

What a beauty! Sad that American cars are no longer designed for the USA; our car companies have all gone global and are now selling cars produced using "Global Design Language", the identical cars as Chinese, French, Egyptians, British, etc. Big, beautiful cars like this one are reminders of how wonderful America was in the '50s and '60s (and could be again).

Once again Charles walks us down nostalgia lane as only he can. The chrome the glitter the extravagance. I think the word Im looking for to sum up this time period is BODACIOUS. Shine on Charles.

My first car at age 15 was a '60 Starliner. That was 50 years ago! Mine was red with a white top, and it had a 292 with the Ford-O-Matic. The steering wheel told me it had power steering, but it didn't work. I paid $150.00 for it.

It was slow, and with 160k miles on the clock, it smoked a bit. I rebuilt the engine in 10th grade auto shop, and drove it through high school. When I was away at college, my brother drove it until it was stolen. Otherwise, I might still have it! This black one is VERY nice. Thanks.

The most gorgeous Ford, the only year they had large Tailfins. So space age, so futuristic. Your own personal spaceship ❤.

My parents bought one new in Yellow It had the fender skirts that matched the rear quarter panel design. Our father was stationed in the Philippines' in 62' and it was shipped there never to return.

The only "spacier" Ford design had to have been the 61-63 Bullet Birds, my personal favorites, but this is a VERY close second. Karl did an amazing job on the resto, it looks absolutely stunning. I hope Karl is showing it, or at least getting it out in public for everyone to enjoy.

Always more of a GM guy, but the 1960 Ford One Year only style really grabs me...esp the Starliner and the Station Wagon. Thanks Karl and Charles

Hats off to whom ever painted this car. Black is difficult to make look this good, the panels are all flawless.

I was born in 1960, I doubt my parents had a 1960 car then, but like the idea of me cruising around in a 1950's car as a newborn :)

I watched your 1958 Buick video, and this car looks very understated and modest compared to that.
