How to Fix 'Network Lag Detected' in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds [2024]

This worked for me

1.) Open control panel -> Open network and sharing center -> In the left side Open adapter settings
2.) Right click "Local connection" (or your connection to internet), click properties
3.) Uncheck TCP/IPv4, hit OK (must have to click OK)
4.) Open again the same properties menu
5.) Check TCP/IPv4, hit OK

Im not sure why this worked for me but it has. Ever since doing this, not only has the network lag detected stopped, but the game is running smoother. Can you explain where you got the information to do this?

I was so hyped to play the game but after a few hours of playing it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. But my experience is certainly being affected by how much lag there is while I'm playing, it's pretty unplayable so I'll try this tomorrow morning but it I don't find a solution I'll have to refund the game.

Im getting it every game I play I play 5 min and then it comes up. After I wait 2 min its says internet timeout. But I can play cs go complety fine with 15 ping This game needs a fix

Don't know if it made any difference but I was playing pubg last night getting dreaded network lag. I closed the game and did the instructions in this video and my next game played perfectly. Might just be coincidence but if not thanks OP.

I bought the game yesterday and it doesn't work ! I have always the "network lag detected" from the start of the game and it's impossible for me to play... Also the texture don't load well and I have like 5 fps...
I have 8gb of ram and a good graphics card... not a bad pc ! Help me..

I'm on a 5G network with an Ethernet cable and it still does this to me. This fix didn't work. I only get network issues on pubg. It has to be on their end or some capability issues. Who knows.

So my friend had some network lag problems on PUBG and I found out that the location you set on your steam page can affect your connection. Make sure that your location is where you actually are and try it again. Hope this helped :)
