How To Turn On USB Debugging With A Broken/Black Screen | O. Henry

*IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ*
People keep commenting about how they can’t find the Connect application on their computer so they can’t follow the instructions in this video. That is not true. If you don’t have Connect, just take more screenshots. Instead of using the screenshots to turn on screen mirrorring, use the screenshots to navigate through your phone’s settings and turn on USB Debugging.

Over the weekend I was trying to figure out how to display an android phone screen onto my computer and control it from there. Every answer I saw, required you to turn on USB debugging. But how are you supposed to turn on USB debugging if you can't see your screen? In this week's video I show you how to "see" your screen so that you can turn on USB debugging and begin to control your phone through your computer.
I know this is not the typical content I make, but I was having this problem, and I'm sure other people will too. I just want to help people with the problem, considering I've found an answer. :)

I want to use USB debugging in order to access my files. If I could access my files, I wouldn;t be interesting to use the debugger. Thanks for the work though.

I think this is the best genius idea to fix your phone from being black screen to working screen because if u turn on usb debug u can flash your phone stock rom again and it will fix problems either you can do factory reset and wipe data cache/dalvik to see if it works i should've tried that on my phone before getting contact for help to fix my phone i can't believe i was able to find this video after searching and contacting for help to fix my phone ... finally...

To avoid all of this headache it should be a good rule of thumb to ALWAYS enable USB debugging on your new Android phone as soon as you buy it.

Hi do you know if this works on Windows 11? I can't find the Connect app, and my phone won't show up next to my C drive when plugged in :(

3 minutes in I get the confirmation that my phone being locked is a stopping block.
Pretty cool though. I used a similar To access my S7 when the screen broke but still had functionality. I basically mirrored it to my television.
Unfortunately my S20FE got ran over and the screen has absolutely no functionality or power. the phone does still Works in all the apps are functioning the sound is functioning But the screen Is just a mesh of glass shards with no power light or life . Hopefully part 2 or 3 Of this series will have an answer for me

The Screenshots folder cannot be accessed by the pc until you turn on from the phone. The cable is considered for charging purposes only initially. To access phone storage, you need to turn on the file transfer function.

There is a USB device that you can plug into your phone and display your screen on the wall as a projection, with its own mouse. I don't know what it is called, but my friend had one and it worked amazingly on newer phones
