The Cruise Control to lower the consumption is true if you are not good at driving your car. People usually don´t know how to press their car´s throttle to drive efficiently. I tested the Cruise control vs. my foot and I did it better. The same distance, I did the distance at similar times. I had fuel consumption with cruise control 20 MPG and without 22 MPG. So the Cruise Control can save you a fuel however It´s more about the driver comfort.


As you were talking about the Engine oil that should be synthetic to save fuel I would not recommend that. I would recommend to use The Engine Oil that´s in the service Manual of the vehicle. People who made the engine knows the best what engine oil is the best for the car.

The AC does NOT use more fuel, back in the 80s maybe because the engine was putting power to a huge pump which took a good bit of power to work but not now, the air conditioning doesn't use more fuel

so am I the only one who thinks synthetic oil is the normal oil and mineral oil is the exotic minority? 😅 Also low octane fuel is mixed with 10% ethanol over here, which in turn causes your car to burn even more fuel, so ever sinec that hit the market I've always put high octane low ethanol gas into my car, it's less than 10% more expensive usually, and it is more than 10% more fuel efficient.
