I was a visiting nurse and would get to this one house, usually when Paul was on. I would listen, with them, to his commentary. I miss his common sense approach to things.

Best Super Bowl commercial ever was the Ford Truck ad showing American farmers working with their families with Paul Harvey’s “So God created a farmer” dialogue.

I'm 74. You're darn right I listened to Paul daily. Absolutely fantastic and will NEVER be replaced. GOD bless him. And I believe his son did the research for "the rest of the stories".

I worked on a welding crew back in the 80s. Our whole team would take a 15-minute break every day at 12: 15pm to gather around the radio to listen to Paul Harvey bring us a few minutes of wit and wisdom. It was a wonderful world then and I sure miss it. Six American men and one sweet gal all doing hard work that today's average American wouldn't dream of lowering themselves to do. Welding is hot, sweaty dirty and hard work. We all had families to support and the thought of letting the government do that for us never crossed our minds.

Paul Harvey did more to inspire a listener's imagination than anyone ever could. His "Rest of the Story" are still relevant today. "Paul Harvey...Good Day!"

Paul was one of the few constants in my life growing up. I’m 48 now and back then I was always excited to catch him or sometimes his son on the radio. Always shared wonderful interesting stories - always learning about facts about people and things I didn’t know about. He felt like part of my family
