Overwhelming gratitude for this meditation at this moment in time!
Although anyone will find that pain and fatigue are referenced, alongside physical and cognitive disabilities, if they were to google MS; what isn’t applied is the term medical malaise. Yet I find this very adequately describes the way I feel that steals hours and days of my life from me. Alongside my low level disabilities, I have quite a lot of pain and some fatigue. But added to which is a sense of feeling unwell, as if you’re coming down with something - where you’d apply the word ‘ropey’ or ‘yucky’ This can be so debilitating because of course when you fell like this you don’t just feel physically below par but low in your mood/spirits too!
In clicking on this meditation Linda I had no idea that it’s content would contain a positive focus that would ideally benefit me as for how I’m feeling this morning. Of course, the MS grip on my body and mind is still there, and still strong, but accessing and utilising my inner smile - being lost in it for the duration was wonderful! Furthermore the emotional oppression caused by the feeling of malaise is now lighter.
