Getting a H-series processor and XE graphics with plenty of RAM, combined with 2.8K OLED display at $850? Now this is amazing. Definitely a price-to-performance laptop.

When it comes to delivering core facts to buy or not to buy a computer, Matthew is just a PRO at that..Superb presentation and great content as always...

HP coming out swinging at the competition with the price to performance this thing has!

Quality webcam, awesome screen, good amount of RAM, good build quality, and a pretty beast CPU for $850?!

Complete opposite of that $4000+ MSI thick boy last video when it comes to value.

This is less expensive than the MacBook Air M1 and you get it for $760 with student discount. The display is way better, build quality is good, this is nearly twice as fast in multi core compared to M1 and it has 16 GB RAM compared to the MacBook’s 8 GB which adds $200 if you want 16 GB. As a student myself, 6 hours of battery is more than enough as I use a laptop maybe 2 hours each day as lectures are in person so you take notes by hand. To me, this is much better than the M1 MacBook Air but to each their own…

UPDATE: Forgot to mention, I’ve used the M1 MacBook Air as one of my siblings has one and it isn’t impressive to me, so all of you fanboys can calm down as I am entitled to an opinion too. Thanks!

HP has really knocked it out of the price/performance park, first with the HP Pavilion Aero 13 and now this!

you were the reason I bought the Evedal ikea lamp (but the desk one, not standing) and I think it is a material item that brought me the most joy in years.

Man, with an AMD 6800h (or even 6800U) in there, this would absolutely be the laptop to beat in this segment! Can you imagine, great battery life + decent gaming in a thin/light office notebook!

1440p front cam !!
Isn't that unprecedented in a laptop?

I think it's an excellent laptop. I think going AMD would have fixed the battery life imo.

Great review as always. One thing I want to clarify about some other configuration of this laptop as it can be configured with either a MX550 or a RTX 2050 GPU. But if you want those dedicated GPU, the CPU will always be Alder Lake U series CPU with just 2 P cores. Reason is that it can't handle the heat dissipation requirement for a H series 12th Gen + a dedicated GPU, unlike some of the Ryzen Laptops like VivoBook Pro 14 series, packing full fledged H series CPU and RTX 3050 Ti GPU.

4:02 Now the power brake is 90 Watts. This is a chunkier power brick for a laptop this size and that's due to the H series processor and because you can buy this with a discrete GPU.

do you know about asus vivobook pro 14 (not the 14x) exist? you can also get it with h series processors and 1650 or 3050 or 3050ti, 2.8k 90hz oled

I have pretty good feeling that this is the exact same display found in the new asus zenbook 14 oled.

Could you please benchmark this against the Acer Swift X with the Ryzen 7 5800U CPU and 3050ti GPU?

The product sounds amazing. My biggest concern is the company itself. I've had friends having a bad experience. Hopefully they got it right
