when I try to enable desktop audio, It only shows "disabled", no speakers or anything

Im on Mac m3...my interface does not pop up under "desktop audio" at all ?? it stays on "disabled"

This video video didnt work for me, but I made a work around.

inside OBS, add a audio input capture (under sources)-> select source(same as video capture ) -> go to advanced audio property-> set audio monitoring to monitor and output.
Hope this helps someone someday!
