Not sure who this revised SKU is supposed to cater to, but most people looking for a card at that price point will likely fork up the difference to get the 4070S instead since it's about ~20% faster than the original.

If it's still 12GB that could be an issue over the next couple years depending on monitor resolution. Would go 16GB minimum even for mid end.
