NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super Review & Benchmarks vs. RTX 4070, RX 7800 XT, & More

Показать описание
This review of the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Super includes benchmarks vs. the RTX 4070 (original), RTX 4070 Ti, RTX 4080, 3070, 2070, and AMD cards like the RX 6800 XT, RX 7800 XT, 7900 XT, and more. Testing looks at a mix of rasterization performance in gaming, ray tracing performance (including DLSS and FSR), and end-to-end system latency performance as influenced by the GPU. We'll also test power consumption of the new RTX 4070 Super graphics card. This testing should help establish which video cards are the best for gaming in the $500 to $600 area right now, but we have plenty more coming with the new AMD RX 7600 XT, NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti Super, and RTX 4080 Super, so check back for those this month.

Pretty good specs for a $400 GPU. It is $400 right? Right?

I feel like the supers always come out when prices are terrible for new gpus

1080Ti still showing it's face in benchmarks damm, that card aged well.

As we expected, the new "SUPER" GPU's are the SKU's they should have released a year ago when the 40 series launched.

Thank you for adding latency in your reviews! Ive always been looking for that but there is barely any information on this.

Just popping in on the latency side of things - I'd love to ping over one of my open source latency testing tools for you to try out. It does the mouse movement testing you mentioned, it's a bit more automated, and it's fully open source (and available). I know it helps me a fair bit with testing, so hopefully it'd be a useful addition for you too!

I do think it’d be helpful to include the 1080 Ti and 2080 Ti in these charts. Lots of old 1000 and 2000 series owners out there and anything 4070 and up is an upgrade for those entire series

Latency analysis is excellent. I would love to see how all the frame gen technologies effect latency if you all can fit it into your workflow. Great work!

It may be helpful to write a macro for clicking / movement that can be repeatable in multiple games. Love the new additional benchmark !

The 4070 ti super thing is so insane when I remembered that they originally wanted two 4080s in the lineup. So what was the plan there then?? Two 4080 supers???

Absolutely love the icons at the beginning showing where the part came from. Transparency is dope.

great review as always. I really love the input latency testing. I would love to see more of it going forward for sure. I primarily play fps shooters like mw3 and this is indeed useful info to note.

The problem is those prices will never materialize in reality. The 4080 Super for example will probably be 1300-1400 Euro here in Europe. 4070 Super will be around 700-800 Euro. It's really disappointing Edit: It is also worth mentioning that the AMD prices are not inflated in retail here which increases their value in comparison even further. the Nvidia MSRP means nothing

For that car comparison, that epidemic is known as the awful Piano Black plastic that manufacturers litter in car interiors. Absolutely perfect comparison.

Love the new graphic explaining the procurement of the review part. Please keep that, and I don't know why this hasn't been a standard for creators yet.

Solid review as always 💪 I'd love to see some Blender benchmarks for creators and workstation users

Great review as always. Absolutely loved the latency testing. Something that is actually relevant and meaningful for the feeling of responsiveness and "snappiness" for the consumer, yet previously was hard to measure. 👍 Well done.

It'll be interesting to see the latency tests develop! Is part of the increase in run to run variance because you're doing the tests manually or do you have a script to replicate the scenario in game every time?

I love this new perspective on latency, it makes perfect sense. It reminds me of when gamers nexus implemented 0.1 low fps. when back in the past people only care about avg fps.
