I don't think Trump understands BRICS+ nations not selling into the US would turn a "wonderful" economy into a "terrible" economy very quickly. Just how wonderful it is right now is also debatable. The bond market isn't convinced and if those countries which account for about 60% of the world's population deny access to critical raw materials, the worst effects will be felt by nations which rely on services - particularly financial services - for the vast majority of their economic output. ie The G7.
