The judge has finally ruled on Oz Media and Felix the KitKat's Motions to Dismiss Blair the iilluminaughtii's bogus lawsuit and the decisions are not what we were expecting to see! I think the reason the judge thinks the anti-SLAPP doesn't apply is due to a base misunderstanding of YouTube and social media and its place in the public realm. Pretty common with the older folks in power, they really don't get modern technology.

I'm a research librarian for a law firm who does basic recon on judges and opposing counsel, and my hunch is this judge is old as dirt or at least completely out of touch with the current cultural zeitgeist. He doesn't seem to understand many of the references and appears to view Blair as some kind of damsel in distress who needs protecting from these mean, mean boys. Unfortunately, Colorado is notoriously stingy with court docs and I can't go beyond what's authorized by my firm, so I really appreciate these reviews, @madcatster!!!

If this isn't a SLAPP suit Blair's using to silence people, then *nothing* is. And now I'm going to be changing an OC's name bc the name "Blair/Blaire" has been entirely ruined for me.

I do so hope that Blair sees one day just how horrid she's been acting and rectifies it before someone else does it. I do not wish ill or death on her, but there are others out there who would prefer to serve justice themselves, and I hope she's able to save herself from this before it's too late.

Regardless of her current actions, however, it is clear that whether or not she wins, she is no longer credible on the internet. I do hope that whatever occupation she finds following this, it is not to be managing data or information, leading other people, or doing research, as she has made it quite clear that she cannot be trusted with any of those.

Do not go and harrass her, do not harm her, and do not interact with her. She is so full of herself right now that it will only cause pain, whether to you or to her. Just step away from the glass and do not give her the attention that she is craving.

I am so, so sorry to Oz, Click, Wonder, and Felix, and I do so hope that you four make it out of this alive. I wish all four of you good luck.

So... as some one who is familiar with employment tax law...if she is claiming Felix was an "employee" before she reported him officially as a legal, W2 employee (or at least when he accepted any terms of employment since its being reported that he wasnt hired on to his knowledge until a few months after the exchange) and being required to sign an employee NDA...I sure hope she has the records of filing and/or paying those employment taxes and forms from the beginning of this new start date! Otherwise, she's (yet again) screwing herself over by saying he was an employee months before she actually hired him on...

The problem with Felix's dismissal is they didn't argue half the facts you brought up. They DIDN'T mention he didnt sign the nda later, or any of the other things. His lawyer is not doing their job
