I saw some people who were mad at Oz for settling, but that dude has dealt with enough at this point. Fighting a legal battle for over a year and almost losing his house is going to take a lot out of someone.
It's not like she can really come back from this. Even if she makes a new channel, all of that previous information is still out there. Getting more of the story would satisfy curiosity but not much more than that.

Reminder: An NDA *cannot* prevent you from speaking about illegal activities (past or present) that has happened. Even under NDA, a case can be made against iilluminaughtii about embezzlement (if it's true, or has any level of evidence) - and Oz *CAN* be used as a witness or source of information about it. Oz can legally attempt to point out anything illegal if they wanted to.

Hi there... Person who has been involved in a legal battle in court before. I think it's easy to sit at home in comfort behind keyboards telling people that they're being push overs for settling. But I don't think you know how mentally, physically, financially, emotionally taxing legal proceedings are. They're soul crushing. Your brain never gets to rest, even when you're not in court, you're thinking about the next session. Their lawyers are sitting in groups figuring out ways to destroy your case. Your phone never stops ringing, get me this doc, get me that doc. All while doing this in a public setting with strangers sitting there watching people dissecting your life.

I disagree that Blair got of scot free. She lost everything. Her channel, her reputation, her influence, her credibility, her current collabs, her money. She deserved to go out with a whimper, not a bang. She is suffering in pathetic silence while Oz got to bookend the story.

People don't see the bigger picture. Her downfall came from her narcissism, and that narcissism is gonna torture her. While Oz can walk away and breathe a massive (well deserved) sigh of relief, Blair is going to stew in her hurt ego for a LONG time (considering the grudges she holds). I'm sure she'll huff the copium, thinking it's everyone else's fault, but the facts remain that this all started because she couldn't keep that ego in check. I'd consider this a win.

I think the overwhelming majority of people are glad that this is over for Oz. Anyone who wanted more drama is just selfish. Those who think he is being a "pushover" don't comprehend the $100k+ legal costs, years, time spent and stress of lawsuits. Anyone who thinks that Blair won, remember she wanted Oz to publicly apologize and delete all media that he posted about her, not just his silence, that he even offered to do back in June '24. Getting a settlement in Dec. '24 is a win for Oz, we'll most likely not know the exact terms of the agreement but I hope it was in favor of Oz.

Several youtubers have mentioned Blair having a number of fake accounts she uses when she doesn’t want to say something publicly. If I was Oz, I’d demand she disclose every one of them so he could know whether she breaks the terms of the settlement.
