Best Blender 2.8 Texturing & Shading Addons: Top 10 (including FREE addons)

So what are the best texturing and shading addons for Blender 2.8?

I’ve spent a lot of time texturing things in Blender 2.8, and I recently found out that I could have spent a lot less time...while getting the exact same (or better) results with the help of some addons.

What did you use for the stone floor? The surface looks more uneven than the results I get with (Quick Effects) Cell Fracture.

Decal Machine aside, I would put Mask Tools as no. 1. Insanely good toolset and combined with BPainter gives Blender the closest thing to Substance as it's possible to get.

Haven't tried Bpainter as i don't do much texture painting, but an alternative would be Layer Painter, I don't know which is better tough, Layer Painter is cheaper.

cannot figure out how to get tex tools for 2.8. ii tried to clone the 2.8 branch but i'm probably doing something wrong, blender always tells me in the settings that the addon has to be upgraded to2.8...

TexTools was my favorite addon in 2.79. Original author never bothered to update it to 2.8x. Somebody did but later on also abandoned it. Welcome to the wonderful world of free, open source projects...

I cannot get TexTools to load for Blender 2.80, 2.82, or 2.9 ModuleNotFoundError: No module named TexTools-Blender-TextTools__2 Update: I think I figured it out. I renamed the folder in AppData location to match the typo. Hopefully this AddOn will get fresh updates for Blender soon.
