My first SSD was a 120gb OCZ (Sata 3) in 2012.
Colleagues came to my house to see the difference for the HDD.
I still use it today and it has no flaws.
That was indeed a difference in terms of upgrade.

In games there is no big difference because what does really matter is RANDOM read/write. PCIE 5.0 has huge Sequential read/write, is very good if you work with big files. Pointless if you work with tiny files.

Just for the heck of it, you should compare 5.0's single vs raid 0. Also, for loading times, I would suggest using Total War: Warhammer III. Loading screens are hella long there.

I'd love to see a basic transfer test, such as transfering from HDD to all the PCIes, one from SSD and one from the same drive. Something like a 5GB file. Just to see how much faster transfer speeds are on it.

The main advantage of PCIe 5 is its bandwidth per lane. You only need 4 lanes to have the same 16 lanes speed of PCIe 3 (16GB/s). This could benefit low-medium spec and mobile hardware which only have 16 PCIe lanes

my question is did you compare same disk on all different interfaces otr did you compare 3 different disks ? mainly you should do the 1st one. because comparing different disks on different interfaces is not entierly true as disks can be at different price points.
