S5 Full Review_3 Months On!

A little 3 month update on my Cervelo S5 and how it's performing!

As long as they're disc ready you're gold. Wheels are probably the most important part of your bike next to the frame so definitely worth investing in a pair of wheels. And you don't have to spend and arm and a leg to get a good set of wheels is my advice.

Hey Ronn, loving the Cervelo videos! Glad to see that your injury has healed and the S5 looks absolutely awesome! I'm planning to get an S3 disc frameset; I live in Devon, UK, so I need something that will be OK on the climbs, but I live for the downhills! I'm a mountain biker as well (on a Yeti SB5C) so am keen to get into disc brakes for the aero bike. I've got an Ultegra 6800 Di2 groupset to transfer, but the rest of the components (brakes, wheels and handlebars) will have to be on a a bit of a budget - do you have any recommendations, particularly for the wheels and bars? Also, I'm 5'8" and 155lbs so I'm presuming a 54cm will be the best size to test ride initially? All the best and keep the videos coming!

I really like that black/red decal. Currently on a S3 :S
Think it was from the other video where you've mentioned that the sizing is a little different for S5. You were 56 on S3, but 58 on S5? which was mainly due to the head tube length. Did sizing up effect your fitting in any other way? For example, stem length and etc.
I'm so craving the S5 right now!

Hi Ronn, why your Q-rings don't have the Rotor & Q-Rings logo? Beautyful bike, my new S5 frame comes the next week, the wait was very long (3-4 months) but it is almost here : - ) I saw a new S5 colour (green details with black cervelo logo) in the website of Cervélo, but I think the combination of black and this red is superb!

Hey Ronn, do you have a spacer between the BB and the Rotor crank arm, because the crank arm might rub against the front derailleur, like in my case, which im trying to find a solution for.
