I have a 2020 MG ZSEV from new it’s never let me down or disappointed me. No app just charge and drive

Check the MG warranty on their site, they advertise 7 years but check the small print, most components are 36 months or 45k miles, 12v battery, interior/seats 12 months.

The single USB-C port for the rear seats is no problem. Simply buy a 2-way or 3-way splitter cable or dongle..

MG have been great at upgrading their cars to what the buyer has asked for. I had the 2020 ZS which had software teething issues but were quickly fixed; the 2022 SR is a great car with a better charging port. Unless you are doing lots of long journeys the 200 mile range is good enough with the 2022 model charging at 50 kW or more so that a 25 minute stop gets you about 300 miles except in cold weather. And the headlights in the 2022 were a massive improvement, what about the S5?

Seems a big step forward on the previous car. Would like to have seen some data on the efficiency which arguably more important than endless range comparisons between it and other manufacturers. The real-world range and efficiency figures are probably what a lot of people want to know.

MG did just enough to keep it up with competition on function and tech, but lower price. I think it will be a big seller for them

Why didn't you test the quality of car's metal galvanization? The evidence of zinc usage in ground paint is important in such wet climate as in UK

Probably should have compared it with the face-lift ZS and not the original one. Face-lift one is far better and more comparable to this one

MG4 has shortcut button on the steering for regen if you want to.

With charging, bare in mind in the real-world even a 250Kw charger would not deliver that if it has 2 CCS cables (as they often do) and the other is in use. It may output 250Kw, but this will be shared between the two cables.

Also, unless you battery is perfectly preped for charging, and at around 10% charge left, you want get optimal Kw anyway. All these fhgures, just like mileage are optimal conditions.
