I have an aqua bag. I chose that one because i keep it outside in the back patio and it can withstand the elements, and is a good overall heavybag. If anyone is looking for a cheap aqua bag just look for boat buoys or bumpers. Its the same thing without the paint and much much cheaper.

Aqua bag is my favorite. Been practicing a lot of liver shots and uppercut set ups that allow a follow up shot for the liver (ones I've learned form your video) and I don't got to worry about of the impact for my hands.

I have a free standing heavy bag with a lot if sand in the base and love it, but got to say my favourite thing is a fishing rod fixed to a parasol base filled with sand and water and a small foam ball fixed on top, you smack it and it gives you a black eye if you don't pay attention

I don't know what to say, other than I've been watching your clips on Facebook, I love what you do. You have encouraged me to go back to training and now have me practicing moves I haven't even thought about in over 10 years when I last trained in Boxing. I love how you wear your heart on your sleeve, are very blunt and don't mince your words but provide extremely solid instructional content with no posturing and BS. Keep up the good work, have just sent a link to your Youtube Channel to a few friends here in Colombia.

Was just about to pick up a heavy bag and couldn't figure out what to get so this'll help. Thanks Tony!

I have been enjoying the mushroom-shaped, upper cut bag. The one at my gym seems to be a low/medium weight with a bit of a bungee cord at the bottom.
Different shaped targets are fun, plus it moves around just enough to remind me to utilize footwork.

Thanks for spreading your knowledge Tony. Out of all mixed martial arts boxing is the most fun imo.

i got the Aqua water bag. i love it cause you can change the weight of it by adding or subtracting how much waters in it. you can also do kicks on it if you lower it. Thanks Tony, your vids are awesome!

We have one of those big title heavy bags at my gym. 100% my favorite. I like the water bags as well and have one in my garage next to my MT style bag.

I have 2 100 lb Ringside hanging heavy bags, a 60lb uppercut bag, a 65 lb Title Big Bang bag and a speed and double end bag. Believe it or not I use all of them because they all have different purposes for training but I do favor the 100 lb heavy bag for interval workouts. It’s heavy enough to give me some resistance but light enough that with a good hit or 2 it moves enough to help defensive technique and footwork.

Classic bag and double end bag. That’s what I keep in my basement. Would live the aqua bag and slip bag though.

Tony please do another video going through all the types of bags (pear bags, wall bags, BOBs) and please talk about which bags are best for what. You do a lot of vids, you could do a series e.g. best bags for footwork, best bags for training power, best bags for training technique.

Tony has been my wingman for the past 10 months of boxing training, unknowingly to him... I'm stuck with whether to go for a 'wrecking ball' or 'traditional heavy bag' type of bag for home and what to prioritise. The wrecking ball allows for uppercuts and movement, whereas the heavy bag allows for body shots and less movement. I'm leaning towards the wrecking ball to focus on combinations (with uppercuts) and movement as I have power for days but slower than most. My Coach is not a fan of the aqua ball feel either, and kind wish there was a 'heavy' angle uppercut bag to solve for both Uppercuts and body shots. Anyway change my mind YouTube...
