I liked Hector's character, because he never treated Vivian like she was worthless, but with class, honor, and respect, regardless of her being a call girl.

I love the scene where Vivian goes into the store that refused to serve her. It's classic

Now that I'm older, I realize how he was building up Vivian's confidence with all the "sucking up, " supporting her at first when it was overwhelming by giving her his reactions, and letting her make her own decisions. She rocked it! She walked into the hotel like she owned it, and that's what makes the difference in how people see you.
