No one but Julia Roberts could have finessed this role the way she did - on the surface a jaded "woman of the world" but when you look beyond the stereotypes, you realize she has an irrepressible spirit, a quiet strength, & a delightful demeanor that everyone around her learns from. This is not a corny romcom movie, it's a study of what you can learn from others if you let go of stereotypes, and open up your heart and mind. This is one of my favorite movies of all time!

Such a classic movie. Films were so much better when they were filmed with...film. There was a grainy warmth and richness to the picture that seems lost in this day and age of modern, digital cinema cameras. I remember seeing this at the Roxy Theatre in Parramatta when it came out in 1990. I saw it with a group of friends, one of them the girl I thought I'd spend forever with. Things didn't go quite the way we planned – and I have no idea what ever became of her – but I always think of her whenever I hear this song, or see the movie.

Despite the Movie being titled "Pretty Woman" and this song being used in one scene, "It Must have been Love" will always be THE MAIN THEME of Pretty Woman for me, even above the eponymous song "My pretty woman" I have associated the song with the movie and Vice versa more than any other song in the ost.

Julia Roberts was my favorite actress as a kid growing up, I even named one of my favorite toy cars after her, haha. In her prime years there was never really a focus on her acting, she was a bankable movie star, a cash cow for the producers, and America’s Sweetheart. But her limo scene in this movie is one of the best pieces of acting I’ve seen in general, not just as far as Julia Roberts goes. In those few seconds you can exactly see and understand how the character feels at that moment without her saying a single word, she nailed that scene.
