Sorry, but, IPS panels are NOT known for "great response times." Quite the opposite actually. While IPS is great for viewing angles and color saturation, it is the TN panel that wins in the response category. And no, this being 'Nano IPS' does not make a difference in terms of RT, but ratther color space on a professional scale and Nano is but another marketing term for OLED really. If you're going to review it, know your tech. With nearly every panel type: IPS, TN and VA, there are trade-offs for each. Most serious gamers go for FHD TN screens because they tend to have the fastest response times. You should know this stuff.

I use the LG 32UK550-UL500 as a TV. I have mine connected to a Roku Ultra 4670R. Together they work beautifully so far. I had wanted to see how the monitor would perform as a 4K TV and was mind-blown by the results. The colors and the 4K clarity are amazing! The built-in speakers don't sound too bad, either. Only thing is I have to manually use the volume control that's in the monitor's settings. The Roku remote won't control the speaker volume. I use the HDMI cord that came with the monitor and I currently have the resolution set at 3840x2160 60Hz. It fills the screen. I hope to connect this monitor to a PC later on, but for now I'm enjoying the monitor very much as a desk TV.

The picture quality and brightness on these monitors is outstanding and that’s coming from an OLED and ASUS Rog strix monitor owner , ignore the the salty haters..great review 💯👌

Imo hdr most of the times (in games, not talking about movies) sucks. In almost every game hdr lowers the overall brightness and sometimes colors get washed out. And no, I don’t have a crappy monitor. This happens even with my oled tv. Great review though!!!

I have the 32UD99 and use with PS4 Pro and Xbox X...messed up really as not great for FPS, should have gone with a TN again, stuck with it know though and was expensive

The color grading and contrast of your videos doesnt work for review videos (in my personal opinion), i'd like to see a more natural look - so you can actually get an impression of how the products look in reality. Its just too "artsy"...

I like the idea of having 2 of these monitors on the sides and 1 gaming monitor in the middle. May I ask what monitor you intend to use in the middle? I do also care about having symmetry / alignment on my setup, a lot of monitors though being the same size have different designs so finding one that would complement the design on this monitor would be nice for my triple monitor setup.

I probably have looked at over 100 reviews...this is the FIRST that showed YT in 4k; further, other than ASUS, which has critics for being overly sharp and birght, this sits well at HD600;. You have $2, 000 IPS panels that only have 350 nits. Kudos!

These have bad backlight bleed. The ud99 is better. Maybe it’s the best if you get lucky with the backlight. Anyways, I think it’s a solid monitor, hope you are enjoying it.

These comments are hilarious. He said verbatim "I'll have these monitors on the side with my gaming monitor in the middle." However, ones view point on an IPS monitor or TN for gaming differ. Some like hz or FPS while others like resolution or color. Get over yourselves.

Good video, thanks for showing vertical mode. I have an ultra wide monitor, very first g-sync some 4 years ago.
Its still great and I now do photography and Web design so colours are important.
I was thinking of using my UWide main and the 4k vertical to split 50/50.
