A wave of déjà vu washed over me this morning as a line of FPL trucks (power company) passed in front of us during our morning walk.

Saturday, September 28 will mark the 2 year anniversary of hurricane Ian where FMB was ground zero. **NOTE HELENE HIT 9/26/24 and we are now dealing with that aftermath across FL and multiple states**

As a storm is currently brewing in the gulf, I urge all Floridians to prepare for the storm and understand how to recover after.

These days, I hope the preparation I put into new storms turns into extra food, water, and gas in my car that I can use later.

I hope it is never used for its intended purpose.

As we all learned from Ian, it’s way better to be prepared for the worst and have nothing happen, then not be prepared for the worst when it does happen to your community.

If you download my free e-book, we put resources at the end for how to prepare prior to natural disasters as well as the steps to take after.

I hope you download the book and never have to use these resources.

However, if these resources can impact one family, one life, in a proactive and positive way, then it was worth it.
