Um being from Australia (Sydney harbor) I was confused by the phase 2nd largest harbor in the world behind Pearl harbor. I'm a big fan of this channel, but that easily searchable fact wasn't done undermines my trust in what else is said here.
Or is there some other angle that I'm not considering?

Except for the naval power of Algeria (sarcasm), the UK and then NATO have had total control of the Med since Trafalgar, except for about1939- 1943. I don't see how this is a big change


Right Wing parties' culture wars aside, the EU needs LEGAL immigration to slow impending demographic collapse. Moving a naval base doesn't really help with this, immigration reform and culture changes are needed
