Toyota RAV4 ABS TRAC VSC Warning Light FIX - C1223 C1241 C1249

If warning lights for ABS (anti-lock braking system), TRAC (traction control), and VSC (vehicle stability control) come on simultaneously and stay on until the engine is shut off, but do not come back on when the engine is re-started, try the fix in this video. This issue seems to be common across many Toyota vehicles. Diagnosing with scantool gives stored chassis codes C1223 C1241 and C1249, even if the warning lights are off. These are ABS fault, low or high power supply voltage, and stop lamp switch circuit open. The real culprit is the stop lamp switch aka brake pedal sensor. Replacing the switch solves the problem in most cases.

This happens to me along with the power steering, airbag and more recently and weirdly, the seatbelt light flashes despite being buckled. There's nothing I can do to trigger this. I don't know why it's doing it. There's no codes. Battery and alternator have been tested multiple times and they're fine. Dealership won't look at because the lights weren't on when I brought it in. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do.

My 2007 rav 4 has same lights locked steering wheel replaced the sensor still hasnt fixed it should i wait 30 mins or bring it to a shop

I have a c1241 code, low or high voltage. I don’t think it’s gonna be my brake pedal switch. Do you have any other recommendations?

My 2007 RAV4 has the same lights on and the cruise control stopped working. I have spent $1, 200 and each time I pick it up everything works fine for about 20 miles, then the lights come back on and cruise won't work. What the hell did Toyota do to these RAV4's? Now the mechanic says to let him replace all the sensors on the tires. Damn, there goes another several hundred dollars. Any suggestions before I run the damn thing over a cliff?

Hello, i just order this part and hope this will solve my problem, warning lights i get is : check break system, check abs, check vcs and det handbreak lamp is red! do you think the switch wil solve my problem ? i can drive for like one day and the day after the lights come on, somtimes more often.

My sister’s 2004 Toy Rav-4 has the same problem. Today I went to the dealer to look for the brake pedal sensor and the guy didn’t know what I am talking about and couldn’t give me the part, instead he gave me the Stop Lamp Switch Assembly, can you help me to order the correct part of brake pedal sensor or switch? Or where can I order it from? I even showed them this video and they still couldn’t give me the part.

My 2008 rav4 4 cylinder has the check engine, VSC, and Traction Control light on. Had codes read and was told misfire in the 1st cylinder. Replaced the spark plugs and seems to have fixed misfire, but it’s stuck in limp mode. How could I fix that?
