Hey scientists,

today I talk about splicing and how it works. Splicing is the process where the introns get excluded. The exons are ligated and represent the final mature mRNA. Please feel free to drop questions around this topic.

Henrik

henrik, i've read textbook chapters on this and watched lots of videos but your overview is the most clear for an understanding on the actual purpose of splicing - thank you.
