Hey thanks for speaking up about this issue! I bought my 11 inch iPad Pro M4 4 days ago and i’m already experiencing so many problems with the battery life but also with screen tears. For some reason this iPad with its insanely powerful M4 chip cant handle HDR or even 4K content on YouTube. When I tried going full screen on HDR or 4K, it would freeze my screen and split it in half as if it got corrupted and then would immediately restart. This has happened way too many times and I’m honestly super fed up with it. Literally no one asked for the iPads to be thinner. Let me know if you guys are having the same problem too. Thanks again for bringing this up!

Apple's Design team has really lost its way this year. Whoever decided that the iPad needs to be thinner instead of giving people a bigger battery, needs to be fired.

Worst battery life of any Apple device I’ve ever had. Just sitting in its cover in my carry-on bag, doing nothing, and it drains from 100% to 55% in less than four hours.

Being an iPad Pro M4 user, didn’t face any heating issue with the battery, browsing the internet, watching youtube videos and even after using heavy software like final cut pro. Battery only heated when charged with the 35W charging brick. The 20W had no heating issue for mine. I guess it’s a one in a million faulty iPad which you’ve got.

I just upgraded to the M4 chip and not even watching videos and facing massive battery drainage.. I put it down at 47%.. picked it up a couple of hours later and it on21%.. I wasn’t even using

i am facing the exact same problem in my new ipad pro m4 which i bought it just a week a go and i thought it just me so iam now contacing my issuer to replace it so now i think there no point of doing so

It is very real and a strong point to complain, but your video's title and thumbnail look like regular clickbait! please make some adjustment to spread the message more. it needs to be visible for the bigger part of the community. I made excessive research on which iPad to buy, in last one month, that's why my homepage is flooded with iPad videos.

When I watch a normal video u know not bad on the pro level my battery sometimes draines 2% in one minute and sometimes it stays at a specific percentage for so long! Not happy at all

i am using my m1 11 inch ipad pro and everythings running fine and it also got apple intellegence as well, it is even faster than my 15 pro max, i think there no reason to upgrade since there is no use of the m4 power

It's getting very very hot I burn my fingers while playing games tried everything, and if I am playing while charging oh man don't even try that it's overheating as hell and it doesn't charge at all battery just drain....it's like the charger is not even plugged

first ı bought m2 ipad air and it heated like crazy while using the notes app. it even happened with apps like goodnotes too. so i refund it then got the m4 ipad pro. no difference at all. I contacted apple so many times and they didint know what was the issue. so dissapointing. also this issue appeared whenever ı used apple pencil pro and it also drained battery. so ı refund the pro as well and got back to my old ipad 8th gen. somehow ı dont hear anyone having any of this issues with older generations such as mine. hope this problem gets solved bcus im planing to upgrade my ipad. but ıll be waiting until these problems gets solved.
