I tried Langers about a year ago and I was honestly blown away. I always talk about going back but haven’t gotten a chance to. It’s pricey, but this is one of the few times a meal that expensive is worth the price

Norm Langer is a very nice man. When my daughters were younger, he used to come by the table and speak to them and give them little stuffed animals.

Norm Langer is a legend. Obviously at 80 years old, he doesn't need the money and has more of it than he has time to spend. As the saying goes, if you love what you do you'll never work a day in your life!

There is a guy at my local farmers market that sell a pastrami brisket sandwich and it is divine! Just the pastrami, mustered on rye bread with two pickles.

When Jews and Irish came to the US, they were both outcasts. They weren’t well-received into other communities, so Jews and Irish often settled in the same communities of large cities. This is what sparked the popularity of both corned beef and pastrami, especially in New York, but likely in other cities like LA too.

It tastes amazing. It is worth the price, since you're not going to eat it every day. The corned beef sandwich also good.
