It has been revealed that an Australian Border Force official owns the Sydney apartment where radioactive material was seized this week.

During a raid on Thursday in Arncliffe, 52 vials containing radioactive isotopes were discovered.

The ABF official who owns the property is not considered a person of interest.

No charges have been laid.
