Most honest answer to that question is we have no idea what created or if anything created the universe. More study is needed. What I can say for sure, is that he has no evidence to support the idea that his God created the universe outside of some book says so

Why does the universe need a creator? I can turn it on you and ask who created your God? You're going to tell me he is eternal right? So by your own logic why is it implausible for the universe itself to be eternal? And yes we are made of the universe, we are made of the most common elements throughout the universe, you know that's not a co-inky dink right?

I was attacked in Catholic school by a priest for asking if God created us who created him at 8 years old. But to answer his question my parents created me.

I am pretty sure that the word "creation" imbeds an assumption that is not supported and implies an intention that is equally unwarranted. The classic question, "When did you stop beating your wife?" Illustrates the problem.😊

The "question" works both ways. If you don't believe that "the universe created you", and you believe god created you, then who created god?

Some atheists might be inclined to say there is no "who" who created the universe.

whichever one you can answer, apply the same reason and logic to the other question, to justify how that can be created, then bam, you've just answered both questions
