Ohhh I’ve had this in restaurants and I don’t know why I thought it must be made with cream cheese….some of the simplest tasty dishes I’ve forgotten about over the years. Yall are hitting all the tastebuds!!! Another one added to my list! 🧡

I made this tonight, with dill dusted roasted salmon & Parmesan butter mushroom orzo….BF took his first bite (never had before) of the spinach…jaw dropped & said “I love you” (yes, he’s said it before but never as a first response about food). He said I always surprise him with my varying flavors & recipes.
Also, my first time ever making this. Definitely a lil time consuming with plucking all of the stems from the fresh spinach but SO worth it!!!!

I bought spinach last night to make a test batch. I have never had creamed spinach, but I have always loved spinach, as well as my 2 grown sons. So we will be having this for Thanksgiving ! I am excited, I am sure they will love it as well !

Reminds me of the House of Prime Rib in San Francisco. As a matter of fact I'm making this and Prime Rib for Christmas Dinner tomorrow. I'm not a fan of Nutmeg but I use a tiny bit of ground clove.
