Kvas is not beer and it does not taste like Coca-Cola. Kvas is made by taking very dark bread and a mash obtained from rye bread or rye flour and malt soaked in hot water, fermented for about 12 hours with the help of sugar and bread yeast or baker's yeast at a room temperature. It’s a popular drink for the summer and can be drank by anyone. Hopefully I’ve educated you guys a little bit 💕

It’s so good!!! I went multiple times while in Saint Petersburg in 2020. They have many different kinds… sweet and savory. I liked the one with cabbage and creamy mushrooms. Sounds weird but good!
