I'm sorry for my bad English, but this is the error it shows me and I don't know how to solve it. (The Asterisk REST Interface is not able to connect, please check configuration in advanced settings)

Running the updates via SSH is the only way to go! There have been too many times I have tried to update via the GUI and it either hangs or crashes my whole system. Twice I have had to restore from a previous day's backup just to fix it. Never have I had a problem running updates by SSH. Thanks for all the great videos, Chris!

Nice one but if i may ask, jus wondering if i could update a free pbx from an earlier version to a later one far from internet connection, from repository perhaps // offline

Hi Chris. just wondering, instead of using SSH, if you have on premises PBX, can you just log into that terminal with keyboard and mouse? I have freepbx set up on a desktop computer for the time being. Can't I just use the keyboard and mouse plugged into the PC, and a monitor, and do it like that? I feel you should mention that in the video. Thanks :D

It would be nice if they did not include all the modules that requires you to buy them. I get that it's a free product...but still 😄. I always remove them in client installations. It also declutters the menus and security risks 👍👀🙃
