This is superb! I know only of a few pixel art games with billboarding, but they all look wonderful. There is something about mixing pixel art and 3D that just appeals to me.

Now this type of game aesthetic I can get behind :) This is my favourite kind of 3D perspective and style (billboarding), like the older Elder Scrolls games, System Shock 1, Hexen, Heretic, Doom 1 and 2, and Fighting Fantasy: Warlock Atop Fire Mountain (NDS).

Also, you can stealth while hiding in bushes. Your character is just small enough :)

Let me congratulate you cause this really looks very very neat!! Compared to your previous 2D design the 3D look so alive and explorable!

That fucking snail lol, so cute. I was just sprawling through 2d Unity stuff and seen this and had to watch it. Glad I did, good job on this, it looks like such a wholesome game, regardless of which you stick with.. although the 3d snail is what brought me here but yeah, should be proud of your work!

I think it looks so cool. For me way better than the top down view, there are toon of top down view games, and not that much with mix of 3D and 2D assets.
