what do you do to pair airpods to a new/different case? ex. i lost my case for my 2nd generation airpods but i have an old one that i bought previously but kept even tho i misplaced my old air pods. so i have a prev case but no pods and now airpods but no case. how can i use the old case to charge my newer set of air pods?

This works however it is a little misleading. You need to press th ebutton at the back for between 20 and 30 seconds so that both buds reset and connect to each other. It doesn't work most of the time with pressing the button for just 5 seconds. It also helps if you 'Forget' your Airpod in Bluetooth before you start pressing the button. This always works

this tutorial worked perfect for me. A problem I see in the comments is when it’s blinking orange, then press and hold the pair button, with then open. and it should work.
