Stick with it. Resilience is key. This exact thing happened to me. Took 40-50 minutes to work and it resolved itself. I’m assuming you’ve followed all of the instructions on the video and it’s still not working. If so, keep reading. First, switch off your iPhone. Switch it back on and turn your Bluetooth off and on. Keep the air pods in the case whilst you’re holding the power button. Manually take the air pods out of the case and then re insert them before holding the power button on the air pod case again. During this, your case will flash between orange and white and then it’ll connect.

Here’s the answer: put them both in the case. It will start flashing orange. Then HOLD the pair button down for 30 seconds. A long time. Just hold it until it turns white. It took about 12 seconds for it to happen for me but it worked!

I didn’t have to charge them together or anything. I think at most I had them in the case together for 5-10 minutes max. I saw someone say to just hold the button down for a long time and that was the answer.

To anyone that sees this I had to look this up cuz I left my AirPod case, inside of an Uber and I didn’t know how to contact them til 3 hours later while I was at work, and they couldn’t find them, so I had to look for my old AirPods with the busted ear pieces and do this, so thank you so much for the help it was really helpful

For me, I just waited about 20 or 30 minutes for the replacement to charge and then tried to pair them again. And it worked!!!!🤩 the first time I only waited like maybe 10 minutes and did it over and over again and it would not work for the life of me.

Put the earpods in the case and open the lid, go to bluetooth, Just press the power button for like 30 seconds and press the name of the EarPods shown in blutooth option on your phone. Thats how my connected

How do you go about buying a new case? Does it matter where you buy the case from? From my understanding i have to setup a direct repair appointment in order to get the new case matching my already existing airpods. In that case, no pun intended, how much cheaper is it to replace instead of just outright buying a new set of pods+case...

For anyone that has flashing orange issue go to settings, then go accessibility, and press on control nearby devices then open the AirPods they should connect.

Everybody: make sure you’re letting the case charge completely before freaking out lol. For me that’s all it took!
