My mother nearly did once, she had just found out her husband had been abusing her daughters (sister and me) for years and nearly killed him in his sleep, she didn’t cuz there’d be no one else to look after us, and she didn’t want him to die without knowing that his sins were the cause of his death.
She told the police officer who later arrested him this, the police officer said “u know ure not meant to be telling me this right?” She simply said “I know, but they’re my children, and he hurt them” AS IF IT WAS THE MOST REASONABLE EXPLANATION THERE IS

edit: i just want to clarify and say that my mother is one of the most affectionate mothers there is, she had just learnt what he had been doing that day and blinded by all those terrible emotions she nearly did the unspeakable, it by no means reflects the type of person/mother she is. She simply was over come with the emotions that the man she thought she could trust with the people she loved most turned out to be an absolute monster. just thought i'd clarify-

tbh even those women that said no, if they were in georgia’s situation some might actually do it. it all depends on the adrenaline and rage you feel about your husband touching your daughter sexually ( which is what happened to ginny, kinda. he didn’t get the chance but georgia walked in seeing him hold her weird and ginny didn’t like it but georgia knew what was gonna happen cuz she experienced it before so she poisoned him and made it look like an accident )
