Good video. To anyone wondering if you can get this done in a driveway without a lift, the answer is yes! I suggest using a couple of chains to assist you raising and lowering it with a floor-type transmission jack, and maybe another floor jack. Bolt one end of the chains to the crossmember mount, and the other end to the transmission. That way, if it falls, it doesn't hit the ground. As Uncle Tony suggested, get a couple of longer bolts that are the same thread as the transmission bolts. Cut the heads off of them, and put two into the engine block when you're installing the new transmission. Use them as dowels to help line everything up and keep the spacer in place. You can do it!

I watched this vid to see how to get to the torque converter nuts. I'm doing a 2013 3.5 ecoboost 4wd and the turbo stuff really blocks access to that plastic cover. The y even have a heat shied over it. Yours looks fairly accessible. Did you have to remove anything on your 2015 besides the exhaust ?

Ok last question. What size where the nuts on the torque converter n what you used to get to it?

What process would you recomend just to be able to get to the flywheel and replace it? Could i get away with just pushing it back without needing to drop it?
