I just wanted to give a big shout-out to JD Vance. Hearing about his journey with his mother’s recovery from heroin addiction really hit home for me. His compassion and understanding around addiction show that he truly gets what it’s like for families dealing with these struggles. It’s rare to see a leader who speaks from personal experience with so much empathy and insight. Knowing that he’s out there advocating for those who’ve been through it makes me feel so much more hopeful. JD, thank you for standing up for us and showing that recovery is possible.
