Windows 11 24H2 might bring a new layout for the start menu apps

I've always liked the Windows 11 Start menu grid other than it doesn't provide enough space for all my apps so I hope we do get this new feature. Thanks for letting us know!

Hej Gill thanks for the video the new design that Microsoft is testing for Windows 11 looks very interesting i also like what i see here it will be more like the app drawer we have in mobile phones. So i personally would like to have this feature in Windows 11 start menu so absolutely Windows 11 2024 H2 seems to be a very interesting new Windows 11 version. And also from what i understand, it looks like Windows 11 2024 H2 is going to be a very big update take care Gill and i wish you a happy easter or like we say in swedish Glad Påsk.

I like the new Start Menu feature.. It would eliminate trying to find a certain program or app.

What is more serious is that 24H2 will stop third party apps such as Start 11, Explorer Patcher and a whole bunch of others from working and unless you disable them you end up with black screen scenario. So Microsoft remove the main reason people choose Windows over Mac by removing the ability to personalise the system.

I hate having the Windows button be in different places as the taskbar expands and shrinks. That's just a dumb UI design. Keep it left where it belongs and everything else centered!

Alphabetic overview is better. Easier to point out where the program is in the program list.
