Debo was a class act. He admitted his mistake, kept his cool, but still gave a wholesome goodbye with honest well wishes. One of the few times I felt actual sympathy for a hardcore raider.

I don't understand what's so difficult with Hardcore. I leveled my hunter doing quests and mobs 9 levels below mine, my pet died around a million times and I think he hates me now, but it was worth it.

Got to 60 recently, collecting world buffs, making pots, target dummies, stamina enchants. I think I am now ready for deadmines.

Edit 1: Thanks for all the support guys. Unfortunately I had to leave group and petri pot to be teleported out because one of Rhahk'zor's body guards hit me with an arrow to the knee. But it turns out that petri instance leave only works in a party and the pet doesn't count as a party. So I had to feign death and run away. I lost almost 3% hp, but I exited the instance safe and sound. My pig pet is still inside but I'm afraid to call him out now.

Edit 2: I tried to call my pet but it said pet has abandoned me. No matter, I decided to tame a gnome mage. He was level 40 and accepted to boost my lvl 60 in Deadmines if I buy him his 60% mount. Sounded like a good deal to me, not so much to him though as we saw a lvl 60 pig elite in deadmines with Rhahk'zor and his body guards. My now ex-pig charged gored the gnome mage so fast that he didn't have enough time to cosplay as an iceberg and died in two hits. I of course was petri'd. Gnome is not happy at all and called me Geralt's horse but it's okay, I managed to get out of the instance with 96% HP left...

the two potatoes stressed me out more than healing in solo shuffle on my prist

Some of these idiots survive until 60, join a raid somehow, and then cause multiple people to die

The third clip is like watching a grown up 7 ft tall man lying in the middle of the road, crying for help and drowning in the 0.5 inch puddle while the other jumps in to save him, hits the pavement with his head and is now bleeding next to him and slowly dying.

1:35 As a healer, I've stood by and watched multiple people die in those clouds (only if combat is over, of course). Hilarious every time.

I counted out of morbid curiosity, in the two potato clip, the paladin did a total of 7 auto attacks in 2 minutes.

His attacks were doing about 18% of the mobs HP.

Assuming a 3.50 swing timer, he could've done 34 attacks.

at 18% per swing, he would've done 612% of their HP. Even with Misses, he could've single handedly killed all of them before the priest died by just bonking his little heart out if he kept swinging and didn't spend so much time doing literally nothing.

Just some food for thought. : )

Hardcore has the benefit that you get to talk at your own funeral and say goodbye to the rest of your friends i guess

This has me feeling like JP's Joker: What do you get when you combine overconfidence, stupidity, and hardcore mode? You get what you deserve."

Agro range is completely intended that way.
They kept casting shit, healing, dude literally used retal while trying to run away. They were continuously chaining the mobs lol

Legit, if you can't play with a paladin tank, it's a skill issue. The only difference is you just watch agro or you die, and don't be a noob. Take it slow and steady. You trade "speed" for having a tank when you probably wouldn't otherwise.

i died in my 50s and it was rough. i can't imagine making it in a raid and dying. that would feel like shit.

in the first clip, I dont think it was over aggro from the dps, it actually looks like the "x" marked tank taunted / or just overtook the tanks threat while being in the melee group. I try to go frame by frame and the dps was never targeted by the boss.

Happy holidays all,

DPS Warrior from first clip & 6:00

I forgot to use lip which would have help with threat & I also wasted around 6 secs after trying to double click petri where I could have been executing Vaelastrasz the Corrupt, less dps cost more lives.

Also on Ysondre I dropped a target dummy after I saw an off tank do the same not knowing it resets threat which led to the raid being breathed on :(
and since I was using a new bartender profile... I did not have my duel wield Marco equipped on the bar.

Learn from my mistakes if you can. your choices in game can cost lives when shit goes wrong.

o7 to the fallen.

That last clip, why not block > fear > petri > debuff wears off by the time petri wears off > run (+fear/block if cd is up) ????

“This is like watching two potatoes roll down the driveway” 😂😂😂

The first clip... they were kinda lucky on Vaelastrasz with only 8 dead. I seen full wipes from breaths or cleaves when someone over aggro.

huh I recognize 2 voices, when did they change guilds to death wish, I used to raid with these guys when I still played HC. I used to raid with reaper and frau in a guild called BLood thirst, frau was the main tank and reaper was the GM. I even remember helping reaper get his Whirlwind axe when that char was lvl 30
