Back then games were made with the mentality of “We have a vision, to make a great game, so good it’ll make us money” now days they just skip straight to “We need something that’ll make us money”

I remember WOW so fondly, but when i pick it up for nostalgia's sake and maybe get back in to it, there's not that old spark that used to really do it for me. Honestly though that might be me, I'm just not the 15 year old kid healing 25m Naxx in Northrend going for the Immortal title anymore.

I've never once played WoW and have no attachment to it. But seeing that area thriving with a bunch of players and then seeing only a handful made even me a bit sad.

The vast majority of games these days have lost vision and uniqueness. Just a new game of the same theme with a new coat of paint
