Minecraft: 5 Simple Starter Farms

Today I will show you how to create 5 simple starter farms to add to and improve your Minecraft world! All are really easy to build and require very few resources. Each design in this video will work in survival mode!

In this video, I will be showing you how to build a semi-automatic crop farm (includes wheat, carrots, potatoes, and beetroot), a zombie piglin EXP and gold farm, a fully automatic sugarcane farm (also works with bamboo), an automatic sheep wool farm, and a fully automatic cactus/bonemeal farm!

These builds are all working as of update 1.17.

FIX FOR BEDROCK: On the first farm, water doesn't stay inside the trapdoors, there's a simple fix. Change out the trapdoors for dispensers and place a water bucket in each one, then change the lever for a button. This should sort out the issue.

For the farm, if you don't have many hoppers, place a bucket of water at the far left side of the collection system and one hopper on the other side and connect it to the chest as done here. The only difference is that instead of having the chest in the middle, you'll have it on the far right. The water pushes the drops and the one hopper you put will collect them into the chest. No need for all of those hoppers 😁

Tip:For the wool farm, you can split them up if you want and do individual color farms
