Taylor has done surprise songs long before the 1989 tour. She did surprise covers of other artists songs throughout the Speak Now tour and she did surprise songs throughout the Red tour (her own songs). She also switched up a song or two during the Fearless tour. I went to Fearless in 2010 and Red in 2013, as well as 1989 and Rep. All of her tours have been amazing.

I went to Era’s Tour Friday night in Vegas, & hearing Our Song acoustic during her surprise set, & All Too Well 10min version live, were like lifetime highlights! Been a Swiftie since Fearless but it was my 1st Taylor concert ever! My hopes & expectations were pretty high & she absolutely exceeded them. ❤❤❤

Thank you so much for this; I've been a swiftie for close to a decade now but this'll be my first concert EVER let alone a Taylor Swift one so I have been having NERVES. I'm excited but terrified at the same time so these tips will really help

Nice tips! I think they will be useful as well for the Europe tour. :) though I do feel so lucky we have efficient public transport to avoid traffic jams 😅

Thank you for this! 😭 I’ve been getting more and more stressed and upset about going the more I see online about how people are acting. I’ve never seen this level of meanness and invasion of privacy and judgment, and it’s made me genuinely not want to go in some ways. I’m excited about Taylor and the show itself, but having to just anticipate strangers videoing you to make hateful TikToks and stuff is just absolutely wild to me and even though I’m approaching 30 feels like middle school all over again. It was so nice to see (as always) your thoughtful and positive content 😭💛

Thanks so much for these tips! I'm avoiding spoilers for the show, so all the things you brought up about staying safe and healthy (especially since it's a 3-hour set) are really helpful!! My friends and I are travelling quite a ways to get to our show, and it's definitely easy to get overwhelmed by being in a new place and forget to take care of yourself, so I definitely made some notes about when we're gonna eat and how we're getting home and stuff. I think a good idea is to keep some food in the car for after the show if we're gonna be waiting around to exit the parking lot for hours anyway lol. Thanks again!!

Total newbie here, and I wanted to say thanks so much for this–been to a lot of small venue shows and this is my first massive show and I'm so stoked and have been loading up on info. The tips on eating and things before the show, the merch tips, soooo appreciated! Stockholm 2024 here I come!

I’ve seen Taylor 3 times before. The first one was at the Speak Now World Tour in Milan 🇮🇹 back when she used to tour in Italy as well 😭 IT WAS INSANE, the arena was pretty small and she went off the stage and started walking close to the lower bowl and she was so close 🥺 then during the other eras, when she stopped touring in Italy me and my friends started traveling around Europe to go to her concerts, so we went to the 1989 World Tour in Germany and to the Reputation world tour in Ireland. ❤️❤️I’m really looking forward to seeing what she’ll come up with this time for the European leg ❤️

Love the strawberry blonde, Nena. Never would've thought about food or water in the moment. Thanks, I'll try to remember this. Panadol and ibuprofen were a life saver for a previous concert. I definitely second this advice. Thanks for the tips, as this will be my first "couple" of Taylor Swift concerts once I win the great war down under😅. I know it hasn't been announced but I'm just so excited🤪

16:10 - I loved this point. I am going alone, first time seeing Taylor, biggest dream coming true, and I am going to PARTY, be emotional, cry, laugh, sing. And I generally feel safe to do this at Eras, because of what she stands for and what the fanbase is all about. I’m really hoping to stand next to some cool swifties that can share the excitement with me.

Does anyone have experience going alone?
